Welcome
The Idaho Business Review, the state’s preeminent business publication, and Price Associates, a top business consulting firm, are teaming with POPULUS, a nationally-recognized marketing research company headquartered in Boise, to identify the best places to work in Idaho and the best practices in employee attraction and retention.
Key Information
Registration is FREE - Awards are FREE - Feedback is FREE
There is no cost to participate in the Web survey for all Idaho employees. In addition, again for no cost, each participating company is eligible to win an award based on the results of their confidential employee surveys. Finally, and once again - it's free - each participating company has online access to a chart showing their five workplace dimension scores benchmarked against both the average of companies their size and the top performing companies their size.Detailed Metrics are Available
For any participating company that would like to learn more about their employee satisfaction, loyalty, advocacy, and equity, there are a number of reports available for purchase. The detailed metrics in these reports deliver benchmarking information to a much greater level of detail than what is available for free. Companies can use these reports to identify strengths and weaknesses in order to optimize their efforts at being a compelling place to work.Confidential
POPULUS is a fanatic about confidentiality. Strict confidentiality is always maintained at both the employee and company levels. Employee results are only reported on an aggregate basis. Great care is taken to ensure that no individual employee identifying information is divulged. Similarly, no company identifying information is released from POPULUS except for the names of the winners to the Idaho Business Review. All benchmarking is done at the aggregate level so that only the names of the winners will ever be made public.Survey-Based Objective Measurement
This program is not a vanity award. Nothing influences the results except the results of the employee surveys. POPULUS conducts a detailed survey among all the employees of the participants then analyzes the results to choose the winners based on the scores from the surveys submitted by their employees.Timeline
The Timeline for 2010 is as follows:Now – February Participant recruitment and registration February 16, 2010 Registration deadline (Including upload of employee lists) January - February 2010 Survey period (company Inventory of Benefits and employee surveys) March 2010 Data analysis and selection of award winners May 2010 Participating company results available (with login) on Best Places to Work in IdahoTM website April 2010 Best Places to Work in IdahoTM awards presentation.
"POPULUS did a great job capturing third party objective survey results from our employees. The information helped us to see where our employees were satisfied and where we might improve as a company. In addition, we received recognition as a great place to work. I'm anxious to participate in 2009. Josh Paul, Director of Communication, Thornton Oliver Keller"
