Mrs. Clean

“It was fate,” Jim Franklin recalls.

Jim, along with his son-in-law Austin Elrod, purchased the well-established Mrs. Clean cleaning service (established in 2012) in 2017 and formed Coeur d'Alene Cleaning Services, LLC. With extensive experience in home services, which includes alarm systems, audio and video, and pest control, Jim says, “Providing cleaning services seemed like a good fit, and the business became available for sale at the right time.
“I was sharing an office building with the former owner and learned the company was for sale. I told my entrepreneur son-in-law Austin about it and we dove into it 100 percent—and the rest is history. I truly love this business and all the people who I work with!”

They also won Idaho’s Best (Panhandle) in two categories the past two years.

Jim prides himself on not only growing the company every year but providing an excellent work environment focusing on helping his people achieve their goals and chase their dreams. He finds it rewarding to help not only the people who work for him and their families but members of the community who reach out with special requests.  Mrs. Clean has provided free cleaning to deserving families in need, cleaning homes and businesses without compensation, while employees volunteer their time to help.  “We also volunteer and support many of the festivals and events in downtown Coeur d’Alene,” Jim adds. “We are very proud to call Coeur d’Alene our home. It is an honor and privilege to have a successful business in this beautiful area we live in while being close to my mom and sisters and their families.”
