Family Eyecare Specialists prides it self in excellent patient care and our philosophy it to treat our employees the same as we treat our patients.

When we hire we look for people that have an outgoing, caring personality. We want a staff that is described as self-starters, genuine and lots of enthusiasm. We have training programs in place to train our staff and assist with certifications.

We empower our employees and one of our rules is "Use your best judgement". Our mission is to exceed expectations and we want all of our staff to feel as though they can make decisions to assist patients and get the job done and we will be there to "back them up".... a true team effort.

There is room for growth within Family Eyecare. We might hire a person for one department, based on performance they maybe cross-trained for another department or several departments. Family Eyecare offers "careers".

I think it is an important fact that we have 7 employees that have been with Family Eyecare for over 15 years. The longevity of our staff has been an important part of our growth as a company as well

We have experienced high growth for several years in a row. Our patients come to us from referrals and insurance lists. We are well respected in the medical community and work with many other medical doctors managing the best overall patient care.

Family Eyecare also "gives back" to the communities in very important ways. We go to the elementary schools of Middleton, Vallivue, Caldwell and Nampa and perform vision screenings on all 3rd graders. We volunteer our time at health fairs, assisted living facilities, and school education programs.

Our philanthropic efforts for this last year were around $12,000.
