The Prescription Pad was founded by individuals who wanted to preserve the 'old' home town Pharmacy feel. We are the only independent pharmacy in Fruitland. We are committed to be the pharmacy of choice for our local area. These values are what drives us each and everyday. We are the only Pharmacy that delivers to our patients homes. This is a tremendous benefit to our elderly customers. We hold regular community education forums and those topics include, diabetes and personal wellness. Our mission statement is; As your trusted community pharmacy, we affirm health, wellness, and life through legendary customer service and quality education. We absolutely love what we do. We refuse to be ordinary, and because we are a locally owned independent pharmacy we have the flexibility to make that happen. The history of this pharmacy goes back 100 years! In fact, Erin Jackson or managing pharmacist is the granddaughter to one of the pharmacist that previously owned the pharmacy for more than 40 years. We are also the ONLY compounding pharmacy within 30 miles. The ability to compound is huge for our customers. We are able to make Popsicles, suckers, gummie bears, dog snacks and many other creative things to help our childern and pets customers recieve the medications they need without having to take your standard pills or liquid drinks. We also have our very own vitamin and protein line which we sell to some local fitness centers.
I love our vision statement; Through continuing the history, legacy, and tradition of a local, independent pharmacy,we aspire to share our expertise, knowledge, and influence, in an effort to make a positive difference in our communities and the future of pharmacy. The communities we serve are greatly important to us. We're not just a pharmacy that fills prescriptions, we are educators!
