Title Financial Corporation is one of the largest Regional Title Companies in the western United States currently serving 57 counties throughout Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
Our history dates back to 1905 when W.H. Stufflebeam started an abstract company in Bingham County, Idaho and began indexing each parcel of land by hand. The company began writing title insurance and doing escrow closings in 1947 under the name of “The Bingham Title & Trust Company”. W.H. Stufflebeam owned and operated the company for 37 years and was succeeded by his wife Ruth Hilliard Stufflebeam who was the President for the following 27 years. Ruth retired in 1969, at which time Dwain H. Stufflebeam, the founder’s son succeeded her.
Dwain immediately began expanding the company’s footprint outside of Blackfoot, Idaho throughout Southeastern, Idaho. An early partnership with First American Title Insurance Company proved beneficial as our company expanded beyond the Idaho border into the states of Montana and Wyoming.
Today we operate multiple brands and have enjoyed the flexibility of multiple national underwriters to serve our customers needs in these changing times.
