Employee engagement is a critical component of our culture. We believe that providing employees with proximity to leadership, the ability to provide feedback in an open and honest environment, and the ability to recognize others and celebrate successes is important in order to be a great place to work.

Community Engagement

Part of being a Columbia Banker is having a passion for giving back while moving the community forward. We have a longstanding commitment of active engagement within each community we have the privilege to serve. It has been a Columbia Bank tradition to empower employees working within a market to allocate the majority of support in their community to the causes they feel are most important. The Bank provides support to organizations in a variety of ways including: • Company giving • Volunteerism • Employee giving and gift matching • Fundraising

With our core values and philosophy in mind, our employees are involved in a variety of organizations, needs and causes such as local rescue missions and food banks, chambers and rotaries, to larger organizations such as the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association. We feel strongly that our employees get involved with the things that they feel most passionately about and support them in their efforts.
